A Community Council acts as the voice for the local community, representing the views of the community to local authorities and other public bodies operating in their area and otherwise act to further the interests of their community.

Do you have a stash of plastic bags looking for a new home? We use plastic bags for our food parcels and with demand increasing we are running out of bags. If you can help at all, plastic bags can be dropped off at 62 Summer Street in Aberdeen, we're open from 9-5 Mon-Thurs and 9-4 on Fridays.

PS. We have looked at more environmentally friendly options for our food parcels and will continue to seek a cost-effective alternative. For many who receive a food parcel from us their circumstances are such that they are already dealing with a number of issues and expecting them to bring their own bag unfortunately isn't realistic. ...
